The company is looking for a caregiver to take care of homebound patients for approved hours/day in the Greater Houston Area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A high school graduate or enrolled in a vocational education program.
Must be able to speak Spanish.
Experienced at least 6 months.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to keep simple records.
Experienced in understanding and caring for the aged and disabled convalescing person.
Not be a legal parent, foster parent, or spouse of a parent of a minor who receives the service.
Not be the parent of the individual who receives the service, except for FC services.
Not be designated by a DADS case manager on DADS’ authorization for community care services form as “Do not hire”.

LIFTING REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary.
Ability to participate in physical activity.
Ability to work for an extended period of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
Heavy lifting.
Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The following tasks are inclusive, but not limited to be performed by the provider:

Bathing, Transfer/Ambulation, Dressing Cleaning.
Exercising, Laundry, Grooming, Meal Preparation.
Routine Hair/Skincare, Escort, Toileting, Shopping.
Provide clients with communication assistance, type their correspondence, and obtain information for them.
Transport clients to locations outside the home, such as physicians' offices or on outings, using a motor vehicle.

Job Types:
Part-time 20 hours a week 5 days.

Pay:
$9.00 per hour.
